Po Co Project is a tastefully designed 63-unit five-story mixed-use project located in downtown Port Coquitlam. This project will revitalize the area with new residential units and incorporate up to 7 commercial retail units on the ground floor including the new home for the family-operated "Port Coquitlam Bowling". The newly created and expansive pedestrian boulevard has been constructed to create a spacious walkway.

This project is designed with a mix of hardie and brick siding throughout the exterior of the building with one level of underground parking.

Project Complexities

High Water Table - Due to the geographic location of the project site, foundation tanking and deep raft slab design strategies are implemented to ensure proper waterproofing.

Intricate Parkade Design - City encroachment requirements dictated the redesign of the underground parkade to have the most efficient use of space which provided significant cost savings to the developer.

Mixed-Use Building - Hybrid construction methods (wood framing & concrete) require well-coordinated design details.
